Posting Summary Responsible for the management and administration of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine's (P&LM) academic general operations, financial planning and analysis, HR/personnel, department resources, inter-institutional coordination, grants and contracts and and administrative support for a large academic medical department, including the P&LM team working out of the Laboratory for Clinical Biochemistry Research ( LCBR ). This position will provide strategic insight to the chair and collaborate directly with the UVMMC Medical Group Directors, UVM Health Network Financial Specialist, and P&LM Vice Chairs and Division Chiefs to achieve success in this position. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Bachelors degree and four year's experience in federal grants administration, supervision and management required, or equivalent combination of education from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Desirable Qualifications Extensive experience in spreadsheet applications Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must. Knowledge of UVM systems and policies is desired. Anticipated Pay Range $70,000 to $82,000/year Other Information A six-month probationary period is required.
