Education and personal growth are the heart of WorldStrides’ mission – and they have been since the beginning. Founded in 1967 by a middle school social studies teacher from Chicago who discovered the incredible power of education outside the classroom while traveling to Washington, D.C. with his students, the company has since grown to become a leader in experiential learning for students of all ages throughout their lifetime learning journey.

At WorldStrides, we are one team. We believe in diversity of thought and in never assuming that we are already perfect. Every idea is heard and encouraged whether in a team meeting, a post on the innovation forum on our intranet, or an email to our CEO. Our leadership provides transparency – we regularly hear from our CEO through email, video, and quarterly meetings. We believe in creating and inclusive that promotes and values diversity. We believe that this focus makes us more successful, and that creating an environment that encourages people of all backgrounds to contribute their best work is the right thing to do.
